Welcome to the Truro and Falmouth Labour blog

This is the first blog from our new website.  We will update you with news each week.

This week the Labour Group on Cornwall Council argued against the Budget.  We supported the increase in the Council Tax as we believe people will suffer if there are further cuts to services but we oppose the cuts that are being inflicted on the people of Cornwall.

You may have seen Labour leafletters out and about in Falmouth.  They are delivering leaflets urging people to vote.  The government changed the law forcing everyone to vote individually rather than one person filling in the form for a household.  Guess what, Labour areas have fewer voters now than before!  And in Falmouth hundreds have been lost from the Electoral register.
