We're having a post-election get-together to celebrate our achievements during the election. Primarily for Falmouth, Penryn and the local villages, but all welcome.
We may not have come first, but we shifted the Labour vote from just over 7,800 in 2015 to over 21,300 in 2017, narrowing the gap between Labour and Tory from 15% of the vote (Tories 44%) in 2015 to nearly 38% of the vote (Tories just over 44%) in 2017.
We're celebrating this and the fantastic support of the volunteers. There'll be nibbles and your first drink is on the house as a thank you. It'll give us all a chance to catch-up, meet for the first time and relay our stories. Fine tuning our approach for the next election.
