Apologies for cancellation owing to snow, ice and inclement weather but also due to Cornwall council changing dates of the pertinent ACO /Health meetings. Labour will notify members of upcoming significant activism by continually adding an NHS event in line with critical meetings wherever possible. Labour efforts will not be stopped , Labour will continue to reject Cornwall council's acceptance of removing our NHS and replacing it with a structure set to privatise our universal NHS health system without public consent.
Thank you,
Chair Maggie West Truro branch

Truro and Falmouth CLP support a fully funded NHS and are organising a protest to take place outside County Hall as the council meets there on Feb 7th. This really is a crucial time for our NHS and losses made now will likely be unrecoverable. Don't let them quietly give away our NHS.

The Plan: Meet upstairs car Park Sainsbury at 9am. Walk to the roundabout and attract public attention for approx 40 mins, sited on pavements near the roundabout. At 9.40am, walk across to be in time to lobby councillors as they arrive for the meeting, which starts at 10am. Bring banners, placards, whistles, drums.

It's vital that we raise public awareness of these (un)accountable care organisations that are laying the foundations for Cornwall's NHS to be privatised. Let's let it be known, loud and clear, that we will not stand by and let this happen.
