About us
About Us
Truro and Falmouth CLP is a friendly, welcoming and committed organisation with several hundred members and supporters. We campaign locally and nationally against austerity, cuts and the privatisation of the NHS and much more.
The Constituency covers a large geographic area and is made up of two Branches. The Falmouth and Penryn Branch is made up of members within the Falmouth, Penryn, Mylor and Flushing borders. The Truro Branch consists of members from Truro, Threemilestone, St Agnes, Perranporth and the other surrounding villages down to the borders of the Falmouth and Penryn Branch. Roughly half of the membership of this CLP is in each Branch.
We hold regular meetings for the whole CLP, and individual branches also regularly organise their own activities, so there is plenty to get involved in, whether it be campaigning for our fantastic Labour Councillors by knocking doors and delivering leaflets, or helping behind the scenes during our busy campaigns by phonebanking or managing our ground teams!
