Labour celebrates win beating Greens and Reform
Louise Coley was decisively elected on 13th August to represent Penwerris ward in Falmouth. Louise, who served on the council for 7 years previously, was said to be
“absolutely delighted and proud to represent the people of Penwerris”
and thanked the people of Penwerris ward for electing her.

Louise joins three other Labour Councillors representing Penwerris ward, making their voice stronger and even more effective.
Louise’s campaign highlighted her proven record of delivery when previously on the Council and her longterm commitment to the people of Falmouth.
“people need Councillors with staying power and who understand the level of voluntary commitment needed to represent their area” she said.
The by-election was caused by a councillor standing down after only 12 months.
Louise beat the field of 6 candidates decisively winning over 50% of the vote, with both the Green and Reform candidates trailing well behind.
