Truro & Falmouth Constituency Labour Party

Moresk & Trehavern by-election Thursday 22nd June
Labour candidate Sara Barnicoat
Born in Penzance, educated at Truro College & a graduate of Falmouth University, now living in Truro, Sara is Cornish to the core!
“This Community really matters to me, as your councillor I will:
– Strongly favour planning decisions that provide affordable homes for local people.
– Campaign to stop evening parking charges which damage Truro’s economy.
– Work to develop the Neighbourhood Plan, Truro Nourish Hub, & ensure the Pydar Street development meets local needs.
– Campaign to keep Truro as Green as possible by using brown field sites & repurposing unused buildings.
As a union official, I am very aware too many people are struggling, with food poverty, huge energy bills, & long NHS waiting lists. I will work with Labour colleagues & campaign to bring change to our great community.”
Jayne Kirkham’s view | Parliamentary candidate Truro & Falmouth
“Sara will make a fabulous councillor with her passion for the environment, housing for locals and supporting Truro’s economy by fighting the proposed reintroduction of car parking charges”
